National Voters day 2020 - January 25th

National Voters’ day is celebrated in India on 25th January since the year 2011 to mark the foundation day of Election Commission of India (ECI). ECI is a constitutional body that was established in 2050 to overlook the smooth running of elections in India that guarantee universal adult suffrage to the citizens of India above the age of 18.
National Voters’ Day celebrations focus on a specific theme every year. For this year, the theme is ‘Electoral Literacy for a Stronger Democracy.’

இந்தியாவில் தேசிய வாக்காளர் தினம் ஆண்டுதொறும் ஜனவரி 25-அன்று கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
10-வது தேசிய வாக்காளர் தினம். இந்த 2020-ஆண்டு கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
2011-ம் ஆண்டில் முதலாவது தேசிய வாக்காளர் தினம் (National Voters Day) கடைபிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

2020-ஆம் ஆண்டின் மையக்கருத்து: வலுவான ஜனநாயகத்திற்கான தேர்தல் எழுத்தறிவு (Electoral Literacy for a Stronger Democracy) என்பதாகும்
