World Habitat Day - 7 October 2019 (First Monday of October of every year)
- The United Nations designated the first Monday of October of every year as World Habitat Day to reflect on the state of our towns and cities, and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter.
- The Day is also intended to remind the world that we all have the power and the responsibility to shape the future of our cities and towns.

- ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் அக்டோபர் முதல் திங்கட்கிழமை உலக வாழ்விட தினமாக (அக்டோபர் 7, 2019) கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- நமது நகரங்கள் மற்றும் நகரங்களின் நிலையைப் பிரதிபலிக்கும் விதமாகவும், போதுமான தங்குமிடம் அனைவருக்கும் அடிப்படை உரிமை என்பது குறித்தும் விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது.
- கழிவுகளை செல்வமாக மாற்றுவதற்கான ஒரு புதுமையான கருவி எல்லைப்புற தொழில்நுட்பங்கள் (Frontier Technologies as an innovative tool to transform waste to wealth) என்பதாகும்.
- நம் நகரங்கள் மற்றும் நகரங்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை வடிவமைக்கும் சக்தி மற்றும் பொறுப்பு நம் அனைவருக்கும் உள்ளது என்பதை உலகுக்கு நினைவூட்டுவதற்கும் இந்த நாளின் நோக்கமாக உள்ளது.
