UPSC-Civil Services Preliminary Examinations-CSE-2020
  • The All India Civil Services Coaching Centre (AICSCC) run under the auspices of the Government of Tamil Nadu offers free coaching to young graduates/Post graduates native to Tamil Nadu to enable them prepare well for the UPSC-Civil Services Preliminary Examinations-CSE-2020 to be held by the Central agency on 31.05.2020.
AICSCC Free Coaching Accommodation, Chennai
  • The All India Civil Services Coaching Centre gives free accommodation and nutritive food.It has a well equipped library and well ventilated class rooms.
  • The Centre admits 225 aspirants for Full-time residential programme and 100 Part-time candidates. The Centre conducts an Entrance Examination in 20 Centers all over Tamil Nadu on 13.10.2019, to select the eligible 325 Civil Services aspirants.

  • Applications are invited, on line, from candidates of Tamil Nadu,desirous of undergoing the free coaching for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination -2020. 
Coaching Venue Details
  • Coaching will be conducted at the ALL INDIA CIVIL SERVICES COACHING CENTRE, CHENNAI-28 for a period of six months. Candidates who have already undergone coaching in this Institute under full timer stream for Preliminary Examination are NOT eligible to apply.

Eligibility

Minimum Educational Qualification:  
  • The candidate must hold a degree of any recognized university.

Age Limit (as on 1-8-2020)
  • Minimum: 21 years for all candidates 
  • Maximum: 32 years for General Candidates
  • The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable: 
    1. Upto a maximum of Five years if candidates belong to SC/ST/SC(A)
    2. Upto a maximum of Three years in the case of candidates belonging to BC/ BC (M) / MBC/DNC
    3. Upto a maximum of Ten years in the case of Differently-Abled candidates.

  • Last date for submission of Online application: 16.09.2019
  • Date and Time of Entrance Examination (Objective Type):13.10.2019( 10.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m)
The number of seats allotted for the different categories for Full -Time (Residential) and Part Time (Non-Residential) are as below:

Classes:

  • Full-Time (Residential) classes will be conducted between 10.00 A.M and 5.00 P.M. 
  • Part-Time (Non –Residential) will be conducted on Week days between 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. and between 10.30 a.m and 5.30 p.m on Saturdays & Sundays.
Hostel: 
  • Candidates  selected  for  the  Residential  Stream  will  be  eligible  for  free Boarding    and Lodging.
  • Candidates  selected  for  Part-Time  (Non-Residential)  stream  are  not  eligible  for  hostel accommodation. However, they will be served dinner five nights a week and two meals on Saturday and Sundays.

Procedure to Apply: 
  • Online Mode The candidates should apply through Online mode  in  the All  India Civil  Services Coaching Centre

Hall-Ticket
  • Hall-Ticket  will  be  uploaded  on    07.10.2019    in  All  India  Civil  Services  Coaching  Centre Website: www. civilservicecoaching.com.
  • The same can be downloaded and a  Printout must be produced along with original ID of the candidates at the  Examination Centre. The Hall-Ticket will not be sent through post.
Entrance Examination:
  • Eligible candidates will have to appear  for an Entrance Examination of  two hours duration, from 10.30  a.m.  to  12.30 p.m  on 13.10.2019  (Sunday). 
    • (Question paper  will comprise  100 Objective  type  questions,  based  on  the  UPSC  Syllabus  and  model  and  mostly  relating  to world  and  Indian  History,  Indian  National  Movement,India  and World  Geography,  Indian Polity  and  Governance,  Economic  and  Social  Development,  General  Science,  Current Events,  General  issues  on  Environmental  Ecology,  Bio-diversity English and General Aptitude) 
  • No  TA  /  DA  shall  be  paid  for  attending  the  Entrance  Examination.Each question has four distracters and candidates have to choose only one option.
Procedure of Selection:
  • Qualified  candidates  in  each  category  will  be  called  for  admission  and  in  case  of  any vacancies  those  wait-listed will  be considered.  
  • Failure  to  turn up  at  the  designated  hour  and date will lead to forfeiture, with the seat going to the next candidate in the same community. 
  • Any misrepresentation of  facts  and or  suppression of  information  will lead  to removal  from the programme.
  • Attendance of classes is compulsory.
  • Failure to comply with rules of the Centre will be seriously dealt with.
