Isro’s PSLV-C36 Resourcesat-2A launched from Sriharikota
The PSLV C36 is the 38th flight of ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched its PSLV C36 Resourcesat-2A at 10.25 am Wednesday (7.12.2016) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
Resourcesat-2A
The satellite is intended to continue the remote sensing data services to global users. It will carry similar payloads as carried by its predecessors Resourcesat-1 and Resourcesat-2. The 36-hour countdown of the satellite launch started at 10.25 pm on Monday.
The PSLV-XL variant rocket standing 44.4 metre tall and weighing 321 ton tore into the morning skies with a reverberating sound breaking free of the earth’s gravitational pull.
PSLV rocket C-36
The PSLV rocket is a four stage engine rocket powered by solid and liquid fuel alternatively. The Resourcesat-2A weighing 1,235 kg was injected into an 817 kilometer polar Sun Synchronous Orbit at around 20 minutes into the destination.

- பூமியை கண்காணிக்கும் Resourcesat-2Aசெயற்கைகொள் வெற்றிகரமாக PSLV C-36 மூலம் விண்ணில் செலுத்தப்பட்டது. பூமியை கண்காணிக்கும் ரிசோர்ஸ் சாட்-2ஏ செயற்கைகோளுடன் பி.எஸ்.எல்.வி. சி-36 ராக்கெட் 7.12.2016, வெற்றிகரமாக விண்ணில் செலுத்தப்பட்டது. இந்த செயற்கைக்கோள் மூலம், புவியில் உள்ள இயற்கை வளங்களை துல்லியமாக படம்பிடிக்க முடியும்.
- இயற்கை வளங்களை பல்வேறு கோணங்களில் துல்லியமாக படம் எடுக்க உதவும் 3 கேமராக்கள் பொருத்தப்பட்டுள்ள இந்த செயற்கைகோள் பூமியில் இருந்து 817 கிலோ மீட்டர் உயரத்தில் சுற்றுப்பாதையில் நிலை நிறுத்தப்படுகிறது. இதன் ஆயுள்காலம் 5 ஆண்டுகள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.1994 மற்றும் 2016க்கும் இடையில், பி.எஸ்.எல்.வி. 121 செயற்கைக்கோள்கள்களை விண்ணில் செலுத்தி சாதனை படைத்துள்ளது, இதில், 79 செயற்கைக்கோள்கள் வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்தும் 42 செயற்கைக்கோள்கள் இந்தியாவிலிருந்தும் செலுத்தியுள்ளது.
- பூமி கண்காணிப்பு மற்றும் தொலையுணர்வுக்காக கடந்த 2003-ம் ஆண்டு ரிசோர்ஸ் சாட்-1, 2011-ம் ஆண்டு ரிசோர்ஸ் சாட்-2 செயற்கைகோள்களை இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி மையம் (ISRO) வெற்றிகரமாக விண்ணில் செலுத்தியது. இதனை தொடர்ந்து தற்போது 1,235 கிலோ எடை கொண்ட 3-வது செயற்கைகோள் ரிசோர்ஸ் சாட்-2ஏ என்ற செயற்கைகோள் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது.
