Public Service Broadcasting Day
- November 12, 2016 is Public Service Broadcasting Day which is celebrated every year on November 12 when Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi visited the studio of All India Radio, Delhi for the first and the last time in 1947 .
- Mahatma Gandhi addressed the displaced people who had temporarily settled at Kurukshetra in Haryana after partition. A function has been organised in the premises of All India Radio, Delhi to mark the day.
