Hockey Junior World Cup 2016
The 2016 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup is scheduled to be the 11th edition of the Hockey Junior World Cup for men, an international field hockey tournament. It will be held between 8–18 December 2016 in Lucknow, India, the International Hockey Federation (FIH) announced on 07.06.2016, Tuesday.
- The event will feature 16 teams defending champions Germany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, England, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan and Spain.
- While the men’s competition takes place in December, the women’s Hockey Junior World Cup takes place shortly beforehand in Santiago, Chile between 24 November and 4 December, 2016.
- India will not be part of that event.
