PAY SCALE:

Rs. 15,600-39,100 ( PB-3) plus Rs. 5,400 (Grade Pay) Pre-revised pay-scale  Rs. 8,000-275-13,500/- (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.45,990/-p.m. approximately)

AGE:


Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relax-able for Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Physics (Pure/Applied) or degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Electrical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.

Note -1: There is no equivalent qualification in Master’s degree in Physics (Pure/Applied).
Note- 2: The equivalent qualification to degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical/ Electrical Engineering of a recognized University is Section AB Examination as revised, conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering Electrical Engineering.

EXPERIENCE

Three years practical experience
in non-destructive/metallographic techniques as employed in testing/evaluation/failure investigation of materials.

Note: The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

(i) Site Incharge Certificate of Radiation from Bhaba Atomic Research Centre level or I/II/III certificate in one or more of non-destructive testing methods from any recognised Society / Institute.

(ii) Knowledge of welding technology.
