Rs. 15,600-39,100 ( PB-3) plus Rs. 5,400 (AGP) (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 45990 /-p.m. approximately)
Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology with First Class or equivalent from a recognised university.
If the candidate has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, First class or equivalent is required at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Note-1 If a Class /Division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to First class/Division. If a Grade Point system is adopted the Cumulative into equivalent marks as below

Note-II: The qualification regarding experience are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes in respect of posts reserved for them, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
