Rs.9,300-34,800/- ( PB-2) plus Rs. 4,600/- (Grade Pay) (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.30441/-p.m. approximately)
AGE
Age Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(a) (i) Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering / Electrical Engineering /Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering /Computer Engineering /Information Technology (IT)/Industrial Engineering/Technology or Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications from recognized University /Institution or equivalent.
(ii) two years post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in Production/Maintenance/Servicing or Teaching/Training in a technical institute in the area of Teaching or Training or Teaching/Training Administration or experience in Research pertaining to training/teaching techniques. or
(b) (i) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering / Electrical Engineering /Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering /Computer Engineering /Information Technology (IT)/Industrial Engineering or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute.erience in a workshop engaged in produc tireor
(ii) Five years’ post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in Production/Maintenance/Servicing in the area of Teaching or Training or Teaching/Training Administration or experience in Research pertaining to training/teaching techniques. or
EXPERIENCE:
Five years post qualification experience in Teaching/Training in Technical Institute in the area of Teaching or Training or Teaching/Training Administration or experience in Research pertaining to training /Teaching techniques. or
Five years post qualification experience in a workshop engaged in Production/Maintenance/Servicing and in Teaching/Training in Technical Institute in the area of Teaching or Training or Teaching/Training Administration or experience in Research pertaining to training/teaching techniques.
Note-II: The qualification regarding experience are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in respect of posts reserved for them, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION
Teachers Training Diploma from Technical Teachers Training Institute under the Ministry of Human Resources Development or Craft Instructor Certificate /National Craft Instructor Certificate or equivalent issued by National Council for Vocational Training. Training Certificate from Advanced Training Institute or Central Training Institute or National Vocational Training Institute or Regional Vocational Training Institute under the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Duty(ies)
1. To conduct theory classes and practical in Workshop.
2. To maintain training records.
3. To supervise the work of Vocational Instructor and Workshop Attendant.
4. To assist Director/Principal/Vice Principal in conducting final trade Tests and all India skill competitions and to carry out other duties assigned by them.
PROBATION: Two years
